thank you parameswara

if anyone of you has taken for granted at a small state bordering negeri sembilan and johor, i think it is time for you to give a second thought. yours truly was in that state last weekend and this time really stay, eat and sleep altogether..., i must say i kinda like it or should i say fall for it. it spells warm, history, authenticity, originality and a simple life style if ever you need a change from the hassle bussell of this never ending busy kl.

its really for the arty as the prewar buildings were well preserved. i get to view and enjoy the meticulously carved and intricately design house, interior and exterior. marvellous... i was in my element. it is as though time move on but the buildings stood still.

the area surrounding jonkers were no less, interesting set up and cafe condone it. all around small cafes and eatery with creative deco can be found. definitely the place to chill out and the food... ooh lala.. fantalicious... yum yum. mostly babas. not to mention the asam pedas power!!! OMG send me back there again...

so it is the revolution, evolution and war that makes up this city, the history is intact. the city of seranis and babas, the city that has took my breath away. the city is the humble melaka...

So hear ye hear ye.. melaka rocks

idiots gimme back what you took...

what do you think of muggers, thugs, thieves, robbers and all of the kind?? god.. if only killing these people or should i say animals is legal.. i will be the first to kill them. i have had it with these idiotic skunk (the smelliest of the lot mind you). My other half park his car at ampang point yesterday, in front of coffee bean to be precise for about 20 minutes plus minus. when he got back to the car, a chinese guy approached him and told him that someone try to break into his car. this chinese guy even took down the number plate of the car, it was a white satria with three hooligans, force opened our car through the driver's seat, on noticing the chinese guy, the hooligans fled at the same time showed him a crow bar. as the door was neatly closed, my husband does not suspect anything. but noticed the drivers seat door jammed. upon checking he notice the hooligans took or stole his backpack (its actually a lappy bag). the idots must have thought its a lap top. whats in the bag has far more value than a lap top, it contains important documents which is of no value to the idiots. the hussle that we have got to go through last night really tested my patience. we went to lodge police report just after maghrib prayers, the whole exercise lasted till midnite (with all the reports and photo shooting and interviews).. damn you thieves. apparently according to the police, these thieves have become so bold that they could just open your car, took whatever they desire in broad day light, harm mercilessly if you interfere and will get bail if caught by the police while waiting for their case to be heard. hello malaysia, what is this??? i am simply afraid to be living in this kind of world.. then again what if the police could just accidentally shoot them and then quote 'owh the detainee resist arrest, so we have to shoot' nice one.. don't you think so.. justice is prevailed!

mr and mrs messenger

1 december, this will be their anniversary for years to come. i got the opportunity to interview a handsome couple at their wedding last saturday. cute.. thats what i thought when i first spotted my eyes on them. both bride and groom were small built (about 5'2") as if god gave them the perfect physic to compliment one another. i would say faith that brought them together. they are actually friends of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend. both studied in australia, one in sydney and the other in melbourne. the conversation started because yours truly is kinda familiar with the latter. owh. so you guys met online eh? quoting what was mentioned in the the thank you speech by the best man.. yes, the bride giggled.
a lot went into my head as we speaks.. a lot of 'what ifs'.. what if this person she thought is a friend of a friend of a..... is actually someone imposing to be a friend of a friend.. but in actual fact is a freak, a psycho or a killer. she took chances. she followed her heart. she is one toughie. they stay connected online a few months before gathering the courage to meet. she brought her best buddy and he brought who else.. but the best man as security blanket, where?? in kl.neutral ground.. cupid strike! the first meeting starts at 2pm and ended almost after midnite bcoz they felt as though they have known each other. mak would kill me if she knows i actually know him that way.. only after everything turned out well, they revealed. So.. ladies and gentlemen, presenting mr and mrs messenger!

stacy ann ferguson

you got me trippin, stumbling, flipping, fumbling, clumsy cuz i'm faliing in love, you got me slippin, tumbling, sinking, fumbling, clumsy cuz i'm falling in love.. i simply can't get rid of this tune, it goes over and over again in my head.. i was first exposed to ms ferguson when her album 'talk to me' was released in 1997, it made the top 10 list then. not until when she joined BEP that i noticed 'owh this chick is still around'.. she has always been tomboyish i must say... now with her ever so cool raunchy look she appears to be funky.
it was on 'e' that i heard she is having her own clothes line - 'candy' that she even have the song sang in her concert. 'kipling' honour her by the design they collaborates together. this 'duchess' has certainly marked the world.
i supposed by now ms fergie you are a brand of your own, all eyes are on you, go solo, enjoy the limelights. you have had enough of the high level of testosterone around you. no time to look back coz you got me trippin, stumbling, flippin, fumbling.. clumsy me.

syukor.. alhamdulillah

who is the mistery girl next to our angkasawan?? does this has anything to do with his remark of 'I would end my bachelorhood in 2009? but why were they not seated together? is she just a decoy? OMG ... i really need to satisfy my curiosity. I am one of those who are really proud that my country has manage to sent one of us up to space. regardless of all the sinful remarks that comes with it, still i don't care, i am proud. of all the 23 millions of us, you have to be the one? im kinda bias when it comes to you.. i like to think that they have made the right choice, you ARE THE ONE. i can understand why your biz-partner is all out for you too because he too is a malaysian and as malaysian, we can't feel anything but proud eventhough this cost a hepty $$$ on us. well.. look at the bright side at least some people made $$$ along the way too. Seize the opportunity when it strike!
so... if really that is your chosen one mr angkasawan, i am glad for that has lighten the load of my chest.. thank you!

what were they thinking?

i planned to have an outing with my family today now that my son is back home for his semester break. i must say it is this 'my small world only' attitude and my dearth for good food that actually made me ultra disappointed that we have to cancel. My small world is made up of my dear family and the ones closes to me which is why this BIG happening in the city escapes my attention. Darn...
kl was full of our ayoyo... dear frens from or should i say mostly from the estate. someone has come with a bright idea that they could be instant millionaire if what they demand is accepted by HRH the queen of England. what started to be a simple chore of surrendering the memorandum to the british hi-com turned out to be horrid and brutal. our frens could not content themselves, they turned violent. as it is dear fren, the assembly is illegal, you have been enjoying 50 glory years with us, you even have your ministers to represent you in the cabinet, you are accepted by us, (this is tanah melayu mind you) you have your own school (because you insist by having your own, you will be at par) you enjoys freedom for religion (your kuil is getting to be everywhere and bigger) so what else do you want? don't adopt the malay adage of 'belanda minta tanah', what were you thinking?

hello...make up your mind

i came across a title ' maths and science - to be in english or bahasa melayu' in one of the daily. After all these years they are still squabbling on whether this two subject is best taught in english or bahasa melayu.. i am one of those that grew up in the era of having my maths and science in english, in fact i was the last badge to have that privilege. I would say privilege because I get to widen, deepen and use english that it is almost my own language. I am not afraid to speak, write or wuteva i wanna do with this language, in other words i am comfortable with it. Quoting me as an example may not be enough butttt enough is enough. The more this topic is argued upon the more confuse our children will be.
english is a global language, in order to be fluent and understands the language or any language for that matter, one has to speak or use the language daily as though its their mothers tongue. i feel its only natural to begin using english whist in school to able to master it when you wanna further your studies be it in country or abroad. but mind you almost all subjects, i bet 90% of what you learn in uni or college is in english, unless you decides to study in france or germany or american latin or indonesia.. so mr minister make up your mind!

i care .. do you?

The whole of last week was kinda crazy... yours truly was really busy i repeat really really busy with preparation for a.. how should i describe this, a.... concert.. yeah i could call that. But hubby dearest was like glued to the tv.. beginning from the launching of extended wings of UMNO till the closing on the 9 November 07.. Yesss, I am talking about the recent UMNO assembly. All I could hear from the activities that I made around the TV area was repetition of 'Modal Insan'. Be it in the interviews they had in between the live telecast of the assembly or the speeches that was enthusiastically delivered.
I dunno, does these people actually know what they are talking about or are they are just people who never practice what they preaches. A lot went into my head, thinking to myself as I was running through my dance steps. I always thought (sorry if this thought may not seem right to some people), those politician are mainly people who fights for a placing to get what people like me couldn't get. when they are in power.. get fund or finance or money for that matter so thay could live comfortably, so their wife or wives could spend endlessly, look pretty regardless of whether they really are in the first place. Mind you, all these are actually done at the expense of you and I. I may sound like a sour grape but the facts remains....
